Family Information:

I am married to Clay Hagler.  He is from the Winkler area near Richland Chambers Reservoir.  Over three generations of his family grew up in the area.  I am originally from Dallas, TX and in my early childhood moved to Red Oak, TX.  My husband and I met through his brother-in-law, Ryan McCabe on a blind date.  We moved from the Ennis area back to Winkler in 2011.  We live on family land and love being among family. My husband is a mechanic at Big Brown Mine.  We are HOME!

We have two children.  Andrew is a 2014 Fairfield High School Graduate and now works for the state of Texas. Madi is a current student at Fairfield High School. Both kids have enjoyed their experiences in Fairfield schools, and I am proud to be both a parent of a student and a teacher of Fairfield ISD.

My family also consists of animals.  We have limousine cattle, goats, rabbits and four dogs.  We are constantly outside fishing, hunting, and exploring.

Professional Development:

I was invited June 2015 to sit on the committee with TEA to collaborate on STAAR test questions.  It was a great experience, and one I hope to have again.  I have attended CAMT this summer and was a great experience meeting with math teachers from across the state.  Last year, I was able to present at the district technology conference and am hoping to improve my skills and present again in the near future.  I have read over 55 books this summer in an attempt to talk with other eager readers and also to delve deeper into current movements and thoughts in education.

Personal Information:

My hobbies include reading, gardening, fishing, hunting and CAMPING.  I love just being with my family.  I love to cook and try to share my love of cooking with my students.  When I am not teaching, I am running my own business and love the change.  It is a job that allows me to apply my math skills in real world situations.
